Welcome to the Vivendi Securities Class Action Website

If you purchased or otherwise acquired Vivendi Universal American Depositary Shares ("ADSs" or "ADRs") between October 30, 2000 and August 14, 2002 -- and you are from the United States, France, England, or the Netherlands -- you may be eligible to receive a cash payment in connection with the Vivendi Securities Class Action. This case went to trial in October 2009, and resulted in a unanimous jury verdict holding Vivendi liable on January 29, 2010. A later court decision clarified that only purchasers of Vivendi Universal ADSs/ADRs, but not purchasers of Vivendi Universal ordinary shares, are included in the Class and may be eligible for damages.

Although the jury verdict did not decide the amount due to each Class Member, those investors who may be entitled to receive payment will receive up to $10.00 per damaged American Depositary Share, if they submitted a valid claim with proper supporting documentation. The claim filing deadline has since passed, and late claims will be administratively rejected and subject to Court approval.
